Debra Mattock passed away at her home in Chappell, Nebraska, while in home hospice March 23, 2025.
No formal services are being planned.
Holechek-Bondegard Funeral Home and Cremations in Chappell is serving the Mattock family.
Deb was the second of three children of William Clem and Shirley Leamons, born Dec. 23, 1955, in Denver, CO, where she grew up and attended South High School.
Deb was a beloved partner, daughter, sister, friend, and good person. She was blunt and could be hardheaded, but she was caring, loving, and vulnerable. Yet, you didn’t want to mess with her. She enjoyed walking and gardening and played a mean game of Yahtzee. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Deb was preceded in death by her parents, William Clem and Shirley Leamons.
She is survived by her son, Shannon Clem, loving husband, Donn Mattock, son Seth, daughter Sarah Mattock-Dunn (Sean Dunn), 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; sister, Pamela Moran; brothers, Travis Holmes and Mike Clem (Anita Gonzalez Clem); several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
