Passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at the age of 68. Born May 25, 1955 to Russell and Vivian (Ketchum) Weck in Mason, Michigan. Debbie graduated from Mission College in 1986. She went on to work in telecommunications for AT&T, Lucent and most recently for Vivaya where she retired as an executive office manager. Debbie enjoyed doing crafts, playing Pinochle and traveling. She graduated from Clown College and spent time entertaining as a clown. Debbie had a big heart and although she had no children of her own, she treated her nieces and nephews like her children. She loved spending time with family and being involved in family events. Debbie was loved by many and will be missed dearly by all who remember her.
Preceding her in death were her sisters, Nancy Gehringer, Cindy Speer, Connie Lower; brothers, Terry Ransburg; brother-in-law, Edwin Banner as well as her parents.
Surviving are her sisters, Carol Banner and Alice (Wayne Grissom) Wood-Grissom as well as many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Skinner Funeral Home, Lansing Chapel. Family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service.
