Dee Robinson, 90, of Knoxville passed away August 13, 2025, at the Knoxville Hospital and Clinic. Dee wished for no formal services, but to be remembered in everyday events that she always enjoyed. Cards may be sent to her husband of 70 years, Norman Robinson, 1409 Desmont Dr, Knoxville, Iowa 50138. Memorials may be made to the Knoxville Public Library in memory of Dee.

Born in Roland, Iowa on May 25, 1935, to Otis and Angela (Sheldahl) Wierson. Dee attended school at Roland graduating with the class of 1953. Dee was proud of playing basketball for Roland, receiving her varsity letter multiple years.

She married Norman Robinson, the love of her life, on December 19, 1954. The past 70 years have been full of blessings including their three sons: Nyle, Jeff, and Ron. Dee and Norm made their home in Knoxville in 1957.

Dee worked several places over the years. She worked for the US Census Bureau for 8 years and for John Deere Des Moines in the warehouse office, but her greatest work was that of raising her boys. She enjoyed keeping up with all the boys' activities and being a Scout Mother.

Dee and Norm traveled the country together as she supported and enjoyed going to Norm's national tournaments and meets. Together they enjoyed the sights and the people. She also loved the Vintage Car Club and the tours they were a part of, especially the one that followed the Mississippi River from Canada to Louisiana.

Around Knoxville, Dee loved to socialize, play cards, and participated in league bowling for many years. Dee was deeply involved with Iowa Preceptor MU Sorority, staying very active until recently. She made many close friends and helped many people through her involvement with sorority. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

Preceding her in death were her siblings: Arlene, Oma, Wesley, Bud, and an infant brother.

Surviving are her husband, Norman Robinson; sons: Nyle (Susan) Robinson, Jeff (Denise) Robinson, and Ron (Shelly) Robinson; grandchildren: Emma, Kyle, Wyatt, and Colin; sister, Patty (Harlan) Hall; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
