Ms. Deidre "Dee" Alexis Early, 44, of Hopewell, VA., entered eternal peace on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at the Bon Secours Southside Regional Medical Center.
Deidre was born on November 2nd, 1980, to the late Delores Ann Harris of Waverly, VA. Deidre was a proud graduate of Menchville High School in Newport News, Virginia. After High school "Dee" attended Job Corp in West Virginia, and after her return she attended VA College for Medical Coding and Billing. Many knew "Dee", Twin or Deidre was a "Thug" at heart but cared about everyone she met.
Deidre spent years working for Southside Regional as a switchboard operator, later switched to VCU medical as an operator finally settled at Maximus until her health declined. In 2015 she experienced the gift of life when you gave birth to her son Deidtrik. She spent countless hours navigating motherhood with her son for 9 years, twin sister and friends. Deidre stood firm on a good Moo Moo and bonnet which was her go to outfit. "Dee" spent her time sending reels and memes on social media and didn't pass on a good ole nap when time permitted. Deidre never passed up a time to be around her family, especially her cousins Shonda Hamlin (Waverly), Keysha Hamlin (Waverly), and her first children Shaquan Hamlin ( Newport News) and Terchera Newby(Waverly). Deidre loved a good cup of Ice and a good hot meal stayed talking about some Jasmine Rice. She loved some Trey Songs and NBA Young Boy and would never let us not know that.
Deidre was preceded in death by: her mother, Delores A. Harris of Matoaca; her grandparents, William H. Early, Sr., and Annie B. Hamlin of Waverly; four uncles, Wesley Hamlin, William H. Early, Jr., Henry Brown all of Waverly, and David Hamlin of Waverly, and a cousin D'mond "Poppy" Taylor.

Early of Hopewell, VA,; an adopted brother, Robert Crocker of Chicago; a very dedicated and devoted, stepfather, Mr. Charles L. Harris, Sr., of Matoaca; and a dedicated stepsister, Victoria Jones; two aunts, Ethel Barrow of Waverly and Ann Beale Robison of Waverly; an uncle, Thomas Early of Florida; Peanut's Uncle/Godfather, Brandon Anderson of Petersburg; devoted friends, Nikkia Cheston of Texas, and Tiffany Alvarez of Hopewell, and a host of other relatives and friends who loved her.
