Funeral services will be conducted at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View at 1:00PM on Tuesday, June 4tth with Bro. Randy Riggs officiating. Burial will follow in Felts Cemetery in Ashland City with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 11:00AM until the hour of service at 1:00PM.
Mrs. Linthacum was born on September 29, 1935 in Cheatham County, Tennessee to the late Robert & Ethel Reeves Newland. She was retired after 20 years as a factory worker. Dell lived most of her life near Kansas City, Missouri before moving to Tennessee. She was a kind and giving person. Dell loved to garden whenever she could and attended Faith Community Church of the Nazarene in Ashland City.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Mable, Bertha, Ellie, Maxine, Uldean, and Mary; brothers, James, Joe, Delmous, Tex, Herman, and Bruce.
Survivors include a son, David Linthacum; brother, John Newland; two grandchildren, Joseph & Manny Linthacum; and numerous nieces and nephews.
If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Community Church of the Nazarene, 238 Ed Harris Rd., Ashland City, Tn 37015.
