Reese received her education in the Seaford School District graduating in 1977 from Seaford Senior High School. After graduation she worked at American Original (Clam House) until 1990. Reese spent six years at home caring for her daughters. In 1996, she was employed at Townsend's Poultry Plant in Millsboro, Delaware until her illness progressed in 1997.
Reese enjoyed being around family and friends. Anyone was welcomed in her home. She loved cooking and playing cards. Having a good time, laughing, and making others laugh was one of Reese's favorite past times. She loved R&B music and artists such as Anita Baker, Cheryl Lynn, and Patti Labelle. "To Be Real" by Cheryl Lynn was her favorite song to sing. Reese has motivated her children to overcome any obstacles that they may endure in life. Even though she is not her in the physical, the spirit of her perseverance will forever live on through her children.
Reese was preceded in death by her parents, sister Rosie Jones, family friend/foster sister Annette Holden, four brothers, Charles Jones, Marshall Jones, William Lee jones, and Roland Jones, three aunts, Annie Cephas, Frances Savage, and Shirley Kellam, and sister-in-law, Joann Jones.
Reese leaves to cherish her five children Darius Jones of Wilmington, Delaware; Kenyondra Jones (Tray), Keiosha Jones (Takila), Ke'Shanna Jones all of Seaford, Delaware; and Kenterra Jones of Washington, D.C. Two sisters, Darlene Robinson of Seaford, Delaware and Glenda Jones of Wilmington, Delaware; Seven grandchildren Saniyai, Kaiden, Ziyan, Zaireona, Khijir, Zahkoir, and Baby Cheers of Seaford, Delaware; special cousin Antonio Bolden of Smyrna, Delaware, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
