Della Robinson Obituary
Funeral services for Della Robinson, 63, of Butler will be held on Monday, July 22, 2024, at 11:00 am at Turner's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Robinson Family Cemetery. Della passed away on Friday, July 19, 2024, at her home after being a true fighter for the last 4 years.
She was a member of Turner's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Her career started as a sewing instructor at Spilene of Reynolds. After getting a degree in aircraft sheet metal she worked for a short time with Northrop Grumman and finished her career at Blue Bird Body Company.
She had the best green thumb and a way of keeping her yard and greenhouse full of flowers. She also loved the beach, camping with family and friends and fishing with her love Kenny and fur baby Zoe. At family gatherings, everyone looked forward to her delicious desserts that tended to disappear quickly.
She was a wonderful homemaker that loved her family very deeply. She was the best Nana and her love for her grandchildren was unmatched.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmira and O'dell Suddeth Posey; three brothers, Ben Posey, Frank Posey and Lee Posey; and a sister, Laura Bryant.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Kenny Robinson of Butler; two daughters, Jessica Watson (Matt) of Perry and Keri Robinson of Butler; four grandchildren, Alissa, Ava, Avery and Kimber Watson; she also leaves behind a close brother-in-law, Rick Bryant of Byron; a host of in-laws at Robinsonville and many nieces and nephews that she cared about as well as her fur babies.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3 to 5 pm at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Turner's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.
