Delma Lucille Stewart, 93, stepped into eternity to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on February 11, 2025. She was born 3/8/1931 in Oxford, Sumter County, FL to Miller and Leola Fort.
She has now reunited with her husband, Robert Lee Stewart, her son, Dennis Larry Stewart, her daughter, Deana Lynette Stewart Graham, her brothers, Henry Judson (H.J.), and Ethan Fort, and her sister, Iris Harris.
She was married on 3/30/55 to Robert Lee Stewart and together they had three children, Dennis Larry, Daryl Lee, and Deana Lynette. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Oxford, FL. Delma graduated from Wildwood High School in 1949.
Delma is survived by: her son, Daryl Lee Stewart, grandchildren: Deborah Leonardo (Joe), David Stewart (Aimee), Tim Stewart (Dominique), Stephen Stewart (Deanna), John Stewart (Kimberley), Nathan Stewart, Charles Stewart, Jon Stewart, Joseph Lucero (Erica), Courtney Lynn Brooks, Brandi Smith (Brandon), Keri Brooks, Kaley Graham, Taylor Lomax (Seth), and Chase Graham; Great grandchildren: Isabella (David), Madison, Micah, Noa, Daniel, Dennis, Jacob, Nevaeh, Annabelle, Stephen, Sunday, Charles Jr., Robert, Mikaila, Brycin, Lacey, Autumn, Blaine, Andrew, Lynette, Aspen; and Daughters-in-law: Nancy Stewart and Norma Stewart Hood (Lee).
There will be a graveside service 11:00 am Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Nichols Cemetery 1790 Co Rd 246, Oxford, FL 34484.
