She was a retired employee of Stanley Tools with over 28 years of service and a life-long member of Brock’s Mill Baptist Church. As a young teenage girl, “Boot” as she was named by her late father, helped to run the family store, Mr. T’s store and NEVER LEFT, making her home there.
Mrs. Lewis was a very talented cook who delighted in feeding all of her family. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren enjoyed eating her famous “Granny Boot” spoon fudge.
