Delores M. (Frey) Laucks, formerly of Red Lion, went to her eternal home on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, from Country Meadows of York-South at the age of 90. She was the wife of the late Wayne B. Laucks who died on July 20, 2018. They were married on September 20, 1951.
She was born in Red Lion on January 8, 1934, and was the daughter of the late Clark Bing Frey and Romaine J. (Leber) Conrad. She was the stepdaughter of the late Harold Conrad. Delores retired from Dentsply in 1993 after 27 years of employment. She enjoyed traveling when she was younger, reading, word finds, and doing things for others.
Delores leaves her sons, Randall and wife, Therese, and Rick and wife, Cynthia. She leaves her five grandchildren, Jessica, Jason, Ryan, Justin, and Tyler, and her four great-grandchildren, Emma, Olivia, Archer, and Jacob. She was preceded in death by her sister, Alice M. Snell and her brother, Steven B. Conrad.
A viewing for Delores will take place on Saturday, November 9, 2024, beginning at 10:00 am at Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 am with the Pastor Jeffrey Reaver of Church of the Good Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow the service in Canadochly Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered to the York County SPCA, 3159 N. Susquehanna Trail, York, PA 17406 or to Lifesong Hospice & Palliative Care, 3880 Tecport Drive, Suite 2, Harrisburg, PA 17111.
