Dee was a 1970 graduate of Western Kentucky University, where she found her true calling in Nursing. Dee was a Registered Nurse at the Medical Center of Bowling Green for 42 years, where she cared for patients and families in the Emergency Room and CCU. She was passionate about the care she gave to her patients and their families. After retirement, she focused on spending time with her family and close family friends. Dee especially cherished her time with her grandchildren.
Dee is survived by her husband of 53 years, Larry Wisdom; daughters Melissa Wisdom and Amy Wisdom; grandchildren Abby Whitaker and Cole Wisdom. Delores was preceded in death by her parents Beulah and Louie Perry. Additionally, she was the eighth of ten children, in which she preceded most in death.
The visitation will be held on July 13, 2024, at J. C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel from 1pm -4pm with the service to follow at 4pm.
