Dempsey L. Sutton

Dempsey L. Sutton, 87, of Bolivar, died Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at Hennis Care Centre in Bolivar. He was born November 27, 1938 in South Bend, Indiana. He was a retired truck driver and worked at Bolivar McDonalds for several years. He was also a Veteran of the U.S. Army. Dempsey enjoyed fishing, bird watching and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Patricia Jean Swift and is survived by 4 children Liane Sutton of Columbus, April Sutton of Bolivar, Leon Sutton of Columbus, Chris Sutton of Columbus; 10 grandchildren and a sister Barbara Sutton of Cleveland. He was preceded in death by a sister Diane. A memorial service will be held Monday, December 15, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lebold-Smith Funeral Home in Bolivar.
