Denis Anastacio Dominguez was born on November 2, 1937, in Granada, Nicaragua. He was raised in Managua, Nicaragua with his 9 siblings. He immigrated to San Francisco, CA at the age of 18. He married the love of his life, Gladys on December 26, 1959, in Mission Dolores Basilica. He was a carpenter for many years and had a fine reputation as an excellent worker to support his wife and four children. He loved running and playing baseball as a child. As he grew older, he coached, managed, and umpired baseball games throughout the years. He was a collector of baseball cards and vintage coins. He adored spending time with his family, including his twin brother who lived next door for over 40 years. He enjoyed traveling and loved being in the company of his wife. He was incredibly generous, caring, and funny. He was a lover of sweets and infamous for his candy drawer which his grandchildren frequented often. He was known for putting a smile on the face of others with his sarcasm and for dubbing every member of the family with a nickname. Sadly, this wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather died on October 25, 2022. He was cherished by his entire family, and the memories of Denis (lovingly known as "Wito" to his grandchildren) will be deeply treasured. Denis attended St. John's Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife Gladys, sons Dennis, Marvin, and Henry, and his daughter Ines, 14 grandchildren-Teresa, Cristina, Veronica, Melinda, Lina, Jessica, Stephanie, Victoria, Alexis, Caitlyn, Christiana, Daniel, Antonio, and Priscilla and 6 great grandchildren-Brooklyn, Trinity, Robert, Natalia, Dean, and Nico. He is also survived by sisters Maria Elsa and Anita and brother Alberto as well as many other beloved family members.
He is preceded in death by his father Hernan, mother Blanca, twin brother Donald, sisters Yolanda, Melba, Blanca and Miriam and brother Hernan Jr.
