Denise C. Ellison

Roma "Denise" Campbell Ellison, 72, of Ringgold, GA, passed away Friday, October 10, 2025, at her home surrounded by loved ones. She was born on Mach 14, 1953, at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, TN. She attended Rossville High School graduating in the class of 1971. Denise was a member for many years at Mt. Olive Baptist Church and later at Oakwood Baptist Church. She worked for Hamilton County Schools System Central Office and Purchasing Department for 45 ½ years. Denise was a proud grandmother and happiest when she attended her grandson's baseball games. She loved going to the beach and enjoyed her special trips with her best girlfriends.

She was preceded in death by her father, David R. Campbell.

Survivors include her loving and devoted husband, Rick Ellison; her parents, Ray and Betty Jo Campbell; her daughter, Loree (Ken) Liebe-Harmon; her stepson, Tim Ellison; her grandsons, Lukus and Ayden Harmon; her sister, Jan C. Brown; her brother, Guinn (Karen) Campbell; her closest friends, Teresa Hughey, Sandra McKaig, Karen Winford, and Kathy Thomas; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home in Rossville, GA.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 14, and from 11 to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, October 15, at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, 833 Chickamauga Ave., Rossville, GA 30741.
