Denise was born on December 1, 1961 in Colorado City, Texas to Darrell Fowler and Delois (Copas) Fowler. She married John Ponder in Graham on June 8, 1979.
Denise is survived by her husband John Ponder of Vernon; son Daryl Ponder of Vernon; daughter, Carolyn Ponder of Roanoke; and sister Doris Morris of Bowie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Darrell and Delois Fowler; and a sister, Darlene Ramsey.
