Denise lived life to the fullest putting smiles on the faces of her friends, family and especially the staff at Emerald Bay Retirement Community right up until she passed peacefully in her sleep with family at her side, on November 2, 2025.
Denise was born in Merrill, WI on June 9, 1937 to parents John and Bernice (Bosworth) Ruprecht. She completed college at UW-Oshkosh and began a teaching career of over 30 years. She loved spending good times with friends and family. Golfing, traveling, and keeping a beautiful home made her happy.
Denise found her passion in education and she truly loved all her students. She spent the large majority of her career teaching fourth grade at Rockledge Elementary in Seymour WI until retiring to Goodyear, AZ. Denise will be remembered for her special ability to always project a positive attitude, and trying to make every person's day a little brighter by noticing the little things. She also thoroughly enjoyed doting on her little furry companion Minnie.
Denise is survived by her brother Joel (Lori) Ruprecht, step children Barth (Mary Jo) Wolf, Brenda (John) Maier, Brian (Kelly) Wolf, Barry Wolf, and many grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her adored husband Joseph Wolf, her beloved son Greg Knoll, her older brother Jack Ruprecht, and special friend Frank Sommers.
The family would like to send an extra special thanks to the outstanding staff at Emerald Bay, and the team from Moments Hospice.
There will be a private celebration on December 27th in Green Bay. To honor Denise's memory a donation to your local food bank would appreciated.
