Dennis S. Bouknight

Dennis S. Bouknight was the 9th child born to the late Mrs. Mamie L. Bouknight & Rev. Dennis Bouknight, Sr. on February 12, 1970. Dennis was affectionately known as Saulie to all that knew him. Saulie was reared in a God-fearing home by his parents. Saul accepted Jesus Christ at an early age at the Christ Temple Church of God in Christ under the pastorate of his grandfather the late Superintendent D.H. Green. Saul was educated in the Baldwin Public Schools. Upon completion of his high school career, Dennis enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. While in the Marine Corps Saulie was the recipient of multiple medals and honors including the medal of good conduct. Saul served until being discharged in 1993. Saulie was a musician who had the talent for playing the drums. Saulie was faithful to his service to God and enjoyed rendering the gifts he was blessed with. In his later years saulie found employment with various security firms as a security guard. He worked as a guard until his untimely passing. Saulie will be missed as being a kind and humble man. He was known to always have a good joke, but also for his stylish outfits. Dennis was the life of the party, even if there wasn't a literal party, you can rest assured that when Saul came over, he was going to bring the party with him. He will be truly missed.
Saulie is predeceased by his mother Mrs. Mamie L. Bouknight, two sisters, Edna Bouknight-Wrightington & Christine Bouknight. One Brother John Bouknight, Neice, Brittany Lattimore.
Saul leaves to cherish his memory his father, Rev. Dennis Bouknight Sr & wife Beverly Bouknight, Two sons, Dennis Kay-Shawn Bouknight & Tristian Bouknight. One granddaughter, Kaedyn Bouknight. Three sisters, Ramona Taylor, Lucile Blann & Carol Bouknight. Two brothers, Gerald Bouknight & Robert Bouknight. One brother-in-law, Kevin Blann. One sister-in-law Precious Bouknight. Eight Nieces, Thirteen Nephews, Two aunts, Adele Green-Wilson & Isabelle Taylor, One uncle, George Grier. Dennis also leaves behind a host of cousins and friends.
