Dennis Glenn Busch, 74, of rural Nelson WI. passed away Monday December 11, 2023 surrounded by his family at St. Elizabeth’s hospital in Wabasha, MN.
Dennis was born July 1st, 1949 in Wabasha to Glenn and Corine (Strand) Busch. His childhood was spent on Rall Bluff until his family moved to Beloit, WI. in 1955. He graduated from Beloit Memorial High School in 1967 and then enlisted in the United States Navy where he was on the USS Canopus. Over the years, Dennis was the business owner of Dura Glass Autobody, Busch Construction and Busch Electric. He was also a union electrician for several years and most recently, worked at the Historical Society & Castle Rock Museum in Alma.
Dennis loved fishing and hunting with family and friends. His favorite local fishing spot was the Alma Fishing Float. After a long day of fishing, he’d start planning the next big fish fry. He was also just as content to sit at his dining room table looking for deer coming out of the tree line while drinking his coffee. Dennis looked forward to the Packers playing, Go pack Go! He also enjoyed going out to J&J BBQ & Wednesday chicken nights in Waumandee with his cousin Carl & Karen. Dennis also had a passion for creating inventions that would help people. He was the proud inventor of The Water Rescue System and the Y-Knot reel.
Dennis was strong in his faith with God. Over the years he was able to witness to several people and help inspire them in their walk with God.
