Dennis W. Droege, 73, of Golden Eagle passed away Monday, November 17th, 2025 at his home.
Dennis was born on November 27, 1951, in Carrollton, IL to the late Leo and Addelle (Tepen) Droege. He married Kim Herter on July 23, 1982, at St. Mary's Church in Brussels, IL and they shared over 43 years together.
Dennis was a kind & softspoken man. He was an avid trap shooter and pool player, he loved being outdoors whether it be hunting, fishing or just sitting on the porch with a glass of tea. He also enjoyed time spent with his beloved dogs, spoiling them with many treats.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Kim; their children, Kenneth Droege of Golden Eagle, IL, Kayla (Nick) Turner of Jerseyville, IL; grandchildren, Brooklyn Droege, Logan and Ainsley Turner; siblings, Johnny Droege of Grafton, IL, Deborah Murphy of Golden Eagle, IL.; sister-in-law, Kathy (Doug) Walters of Lisbon, IA.
Per Dennis' request he will be cremated with no services. At this time the family would like to thank BJC Hospice of Carrollton for the care they provided (Molly, Megan, Joel, and Autumn).
