Dennis Ekey Obituary

Dennis was a 1969 graduate of Rancocas Valley Regional High School. He attended William Penn University in Oskaloosa, IA, and the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM.
He grew up in Lumberton, NJ, and was a short-term resident of Cocoa Beach, FL, before returning home to New Jersey. He loved boating, and in 2000, he moved to Burlington City, NJ.
Dennis was a self-employed deck builder through his company, 3-D Construction. After retiring, he took a job delivering auto parts for Burlington County Auto Parts.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harry E. Ekey Jr., and his mother, Helen M. Ekey. He is survived by his son, Dennis E. Ekey Jr.; daughter, Colleen E. Ekey; sister, Debbie Ekey Chamberlin (Jimmy); and Denise E. Ekey Capps (Ray). He is also survived by his nephew, Scott Easlick (Mary); niece, Chrissee Thompson (Tyler); great-nephew, Chase Easlick; and great-nieces, Abigail Easlick, Mylee Thompson, and Harlow Thompson.
Dennis's remains will be scattered privately at his request. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
