In loving memory of Dennis E. Ekey, who took the hand of Jesus on Friday, July 18, 2025, at the Samaritan Center in Mt. Holly, NJ. He was 74 Dennis was a 1969 graduate of Rancocas Valley Regional High School. He attended William Penn University in Oskaloosa, IA, and the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM. He grew up in Lumberton, NJ, and was a short-term resident of Cocoa Beach, FL, before returning home to New Jersey. He loved boating, and in 2000, he moved to Burlington City, NJ. Dennis was a self-employed deck builder through his company, 3-D Construction. After retiring, he took a job delivering auto parts for Burlington County Auto Parts. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry E. Ekey Jr., and his mother, Helen M. Ekey. He is survived by his son, Dennis E. Ekey Jr.; daughter, Colleen E. Ekey; sister, Debbie Ekey Chamberlin (Jimmy); and Denise E. Ekey Capps (Ray). He is also survived by his nephew, Scott Easlick (Mary); niece, Chrissee Thompson (Tyler); great-nephew, Chase Easlick; and great-nieces, Abigail Easlick, Mylee Thompson, and Harlow Thompson. Dennis's remains will be scattered privately at his request. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

I went to RVRHS with Dennis & graduated in 1971... Dennis & I did not know each other personally as I knew his sister Deborah who attended class with me through those years.. My condolences to Debbie and the entire Ekey family... God Bless Dennis....Gary M...
