He left this world on February 10, 2026, in Cincinnati, Ohio, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and strength that will resonate with all who knew him. Denny lived a life marked by service, compassion, and a deep love for his family and country.
Before his retirement, Denny dedicated most of his career to sales, spending his later years working at a body shop, where he was well-regarded for his work ethic and dedication. He served proudly in the Navy Special Forces during the Vietnam War from 1965 to 1968, spending 18 months overseas. His military service was a source of immense pride for him, symbolizing his commitment to his country.
Denny's character was defined by a quiet gentle spirit. He remained calm under pressure and was known for his caring, compassionate demeanor, particularly as a loving husband. His devotion to his wife, Brenda (nee Sissom) Glardon, whom he cherished for 55 years, was a testament to the strength of their partnership. He also leaves behind his brothers: Tim (Rose) Glardon, Michael (Karen) Glardon, Kevin Glardon, Dwayne (Patsy) Glardon, as well as many loving nieces and nephews who held him dear.
An avid lover of all animals and nature, Denny’s hobbies included spending time outdoors, where his appreciation for the natural world flourished. His presence exuded a sense of tranquility that calmed those around him, making him not only a beloved family member but also a friend to many.
Denny is preceded in death by his parents, William and Maureen (nee Simon) Glardon, and his brother, Patrick "Pat" Glardon. Their memories will remain in the hearts of those who loved him, no less touched by Denny's gentle grace and unwavering spirit.
The visitation for Dennis W. Glardon will take place on February 17, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home, located at 6791 Tylersville Rd, Mason, OH 45040. The funeral service will follow from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. Denny will be laid to rest at West Chester Cemetery in Beckett Ridge, OH, where the burial will commence at 1:00 PM.
Denny's memory will forever be etched in the hearts of his family and friends, a true reflection of a life well-lived, and a soul who touched many with his quiet strength and unwavering love.
