Nicholas Lee Glardon, age 68, of Metamora, Indiana died Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Born December 11, 1954 in Cincinnati, Ohio he was the son of the late Dale & Beth (Allen) Glardon. On June 10, 1976 he was united in marriage to Pamela Jane Hundley, and she survives.
He was a third generation plasterer who worked for the family business, Glardon Corp. He took over that business with his son, Lee and brother, Tim. He has been retired for the last several years.
In his leisure time he cherished time spent with his family, storytelling, fishing, hunting, riding his dirt bike, as well as playing cards and board games.
He was a member of Elm Grove Southern Baptist Church in Metamora, the National Wildlife Turkey Federation, and the National Muzzleloading Rifle Association.
Besides Pamela, his loving wife of over 47 years, survivors include three children, Teana Glardon Cooper, Lee (Emily) Glardon, and Glenn Glardon all of Metamora, Indiana; ten grandchildren, Kenneth Glardon, Kelly Glardon, John Glardon, Clara Glardon, Lauren Glardon, Henry Glardon, Dale Glardon, Eli Cooper, Jesse Cooper, Morgan Cooper; four siblings, Tim Glardon of Batesville, Indiana, Holly Moran of Hamilton, Ohio, Paul Glardon of Fairfield, Ohio, Tricia Gasner of Carpenter, Wyoming.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Glardon.
Family & friends may visit from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 Noon on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Elm Grove Baptist Church, 19290 Haytown Hill Road, Metamora.
Rev. Randy Edwards will officiate the Funeral service at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Elm Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Peppertown Cemetery.
