Kathleen Anne Glardon

Kathleen Anne Glardon, 67, of North Las Vegas, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024. Kathleen was born May 13, 1957 in Garden Grove, CA to Robert and Dorothy (Zimmer) Glardon. Kathleen lived most of her life in Atwater, CA and moved to Novato, CA in 1976. Kathleen was full of life in her earlier years and loved to ride horses, swim, boat and ski on the Delta, and go to concerts. However, she suffered a brain aneurysm in March of 1987 that changed her life and the lives of many. She thereafter found peace in watching all her favorite TV shows, coloring art work and floating in the pool. Through her struggles she brought new meaning to the words hope, courage, inspiration, stubbornness, love, and tenacity.
Special thanks to the many caregivers, nurses, doctors, friends, and special people who loved and cared for Kathleen. She will continue to live on through her family, friends and caregivers and will be deeply missed by her brother, Thomas Glardon, and sisters Mary Glardon, Mrs. Eileen Kane and Mrs. Debi Bueltel, brothers-in-law Jerry Kane and John Bueltel, and numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Geraldine (Glardon) Rodgers. Services will be held Tuesday, July 23, 2024 from 3 to 6 PM at La Paloma Funeral Services, 5450 Stephanie St., Las Vegas, NV 89122. Kathleen's ashes will be buried at a later date in the Winton Cemetery along with her mother and father.
