Dennis Head, a beloved and respected member of the North Webster community, passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on March 31, 1952, in Napoleon, Ohio to Harold Head and Evelyn (Alley aka Frisky, Fricky) Zehring, Dennis led a life characterized by simplicity and a profound desire to help others.
In his professional journey, Dennis owned his own tree trimming business, D H Tree & Stump, which served the North Webster area with dedication and craftsmanship. Prior to this venture, he was employed at General Motors during his younger years, where his notable mechanical skills were first honed. Dennis took great pride in his work, often applying his hands-on abilities to repair cars as well, weaving his passion for mechanics into the fabric of his daily life.
A devout Christian, Dennis’s faith underscored his values and how he engaged with those around him. He found joy in simple pleasures, from spending time with his two pugs, Diesel and Turbo, to riding his motorcycle, reflecting his vibrant spirit and love for life. His favorite color, lime green, became a hallmark of his personality, as he was frequently seen donning this bright hue, which mirrored his lively outlook. Like many, he delighted in a good pizza, often savoring moments at the local diner, Maria’s House of Pancakes.
Dennis leaves behind a loving family that includes his children, Jennifer (Todd) Woodword and Heather (Michael) Disalvo; his cherished grandson, Daniel Woodword; and his siblings, Marilyn (Earl) Spiess and Harry (Gail) Head. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Daniel Head, and his sister Nancy Bok.
Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services is entrusted with Dennis' care. At this time the family is grieving privately, and a celebration of life will be scheduled for a future date.
May you rest in peace, Dennis, surrounded by your family and white tigers.
