Dennis Paul Kelley

Dennis Paul Kelley, 71, a resident of Parsons, passed from this life Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at the Washington Square Nursing Center in Warren, Ohio.
Dennis was born Tuesday, March 16, 1954, in Parsons, a son of the late Noah Kelley and Nina Hauser Kelley. On May 11, 1981, he married the former Granada Marie Roberts who preceded him in death July 6, 2020. They had celebrated thirty-nine years of marriage.
Also left to cherish Dennis' memory are two children, Noah David Kelley and wife, Patricia and Sara Elizabeth Kelley Davis, four grandchildren, Jolene, Lillian, Annabelle, and Jake, great-grandson, William Stemple, and cousins, Lee and Cindy Kelley who were such an immense help to him; especially in the last few years.
Preceding Dennis in death besides his parents and wife were siblings, Marian McIntire, Ben, Leon, and Harold Kelley.
Dennis was a 1972 graduate of Parsons High School and obtained his bachelor's degree from Davis and Elkins College. He drove a tractor trailer for many years. Dennis enjoyed hunting, fishing, and talking with family and friends. He never met a stranger. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren; every July, he looked forward to the Kelley family reunion.
Visitation will be held at the Hostetler Funeral Home Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 5 pm until 7 pm, the funeral hour. Rev. Adam Snyder will officiate. Dennis' request for cremation will then be honored.
