Dennis W. Patton passed away peacefully on January 14, 2022, with his wife, Joan, by his side in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. He is survived by his beloved wife, Joan Patton; his son, James Patton; his daughter, Debra Parent; his three grandchildren, Allison, Margaret, and Jackson; and his sister, Gail Loel.
Dennis was born on December 19, 1937, to the late Kathleen and Harold R. Patton. He graduated from Liberty High School and was a proud alumnus of Washington and Lee University, where he earned his degree in 1959. In 1963, Dennis married Joan C. Wonderly. He owned and operated the former Patton Insurance Agency in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, founded in 1941 by his father. After retiring in 2004, Dennis and Joan divided their time between Allentown, Pennsylvania, and Port Saint Lucie, Florida.
Dennis enjoyed playing golf and spent many weekends on the course surrounded by family and friends. He is deeply missed by all those who loved and cared for him.
