Dennis had retired from Charlie Saling Auto Parts Store as a delivery driver. He loved spending time on the beach and riding motorcycles.
He was born March 22, 1953 in Leitchfield, Kentucky to his late parents, Eula (Harold) and Louis Porter Saling. He is also preceded in death by his loving companion of 30 years Jackie L. Rankin; three sisters, Lily Owens, Irene Brushur and Mary Boone.
Survivors include his five children, Tiffany Rankin, Dennis L. Saling, William Saling, Denise Parker and Robin Gunter; three brothers, Charlie Saling (Brenda), William Saling (Belinda) and David Saling; eight grandchildren, Jaxon, Jaden, Shauna, Austin, Ryan, Dylan, Landon and Lily; three great grandchildren, Julian, Theo and Willow.
His visitation will be 2:00 – 8:00 P.M. Friday with funeral services to be held at 6:00 P.M. Friday at the Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy.
