Dennis Willhide

Dennis L. Willhide, 89, of Camby, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023. He was born to his parents Leroy and Floy (Bilter) Willhide.
Dennis is survived by his life partner of the last 20 years, Marla L. (Martin) Roy of Camby; 5 step children: Mike Skiles (Pam) of Bloomington, Wes Skiles (Rita) of Florida, Dave Dodson of Bloomington, Christian Roy (Brandy) of Brownsburg, and Hollie Gresmer (Kaden) of Greenwood; several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
Dennis is preceded in death by both of his parents; his wife, Shirley Willhide; one brother, Francis Willhide; and two sisters: Delores Krise and Doris Alsup.
Dennis attended Mooresville High School and later joined the United States Navy, serving during the Korean War. He was a Carpenter, while owning and operating Willhide Construction for over 40 years. Dennis was a member of the Mooresville VFW Post #1111 and Mooresville American Legion Post #103. He enjoyed working with his hands building things. Dennis was an avid golfer.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville.
