Dennis Williams Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by McMahon - Coyne - Vitantonio Funeral Home - Mentor on Feb. 20, 2026.
Dennis M. "Denny" Williams, 59, of Eastlake, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026, at U.H. Cleveland Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.

Born Feb. 18, 1966, in Euclid, Denny lived in Austin, TX and Cincinnati, OH before settling in Eastlake.

Denny lived a life defined by hard work, loyalty, and an unmistakable love for the people and passions that filled his world. He had many different jobs throughout his career, but Denny took great pride in his craft and the honest work he did each day.

He married his high school sweetheart, Sue, and together they built a beautiful life centered on love, devotion, and family. Denny was a loving husband and a proud father who cherished every moment spent with those he loved.

An active member of the Northern Ohio Victory Association, Denny also proudly served as Vice President of the Gray Riders M.A. Riding motorcycles was more than a hobby - it was a passion that brought him freedom, friendship, and countless unforgettable miles on the open road. He formed many lifelong friendships and touched lives everywhere he went.

Denny was a gun enthusiast and avid shooter, a devoted music lover who never went anywhere without his soundtrack - especially songs from his favorite band, Rush. He was a true movie buff, always ready with the perfect quote, and he had a special place in his heart for his beloved dogs.

He enjoyed traveling across the United States and abroad, embracing new places and experiences with his characteristic enthusiasm. Denny was always the first to lend a hand to anyone in need. He brought positive energy and joy into every room, loved making people laugh, and lived life fully and unapologetically - Denny was groovy until the end.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him

Denny was the beloved husband for 34 years of Sue A. (nee Lancaster) Williams; loving father of Brian T. (Shelly) Williams and James L. Williams (Corri Uchaker); cherished grandfather of Robyn Rhome; devoted son of Sally (nee Hendricks) Williams; brother of Mitch (Sue) Williams and Joe (Wilawan) Williams; and friend of many.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Williams.

Family will receive friends from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (rt. 615, N. of Rt. 2), Mentor, with a Celebration of Life Service at 4 p.m.

Yesterday

I have only very fond memories of Denny - his Big Smile and kind heart. He visited me in the hospital once long ago. I was only there overnight for a procedure and no one else came to see me but when I woke from anesthesia he was there. Such a Bright shining light he was.

Yesterday

One memory that stands out is visiting his mom´s store with Denny, my sister Nichole and Dan Dineen and him always quoting Monty Python movies. He sure could make people laugh til they were busting at the seams. RIP Denny
