Dennis Paul Wunn, age 79, of Brunswick, OH, passed away suddenly on January 22, 2025, at his home in Brunswick, Ohio.
Dennis, a lifetime resident of Brunswick, was born on August 3, 1945. He graduated from Brunswick High School in 1963. Dennis worked tirelessly in several positions, retiring after 20 years with EverReady Battery, followed by retiring as a paramedic and Lieutenant in the Brunswick Fire Department as well serving 20 years in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Marie Zachar Wunn.
Dennis leaves behind his twin brother Dale Wunn (“Sonny”); his loving partner of 7 years, Virginia (“Gin”) Baisden; his daughters, Jaime Abordonado, Kristina Wunn, Julia Schmieder, and his son, Brian Wunn. Dennis also has seven grandchildren.
Friends and family may call on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Carlson Funeral Home located at 1642 Pearl Road, Brunswick, OH 44212 A eulogy will be offered at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Carlson Funeral Home, followed immediately by burial service at Eastlawn Memory Gardens, 2869 Grafton Road, Brunswick, OH 44212.
After the burial service everyone is invited to attend a luncheon at Dennis’ VFW Post 9520 located at 1439 South Carpenter Road, Brunswick, OH 44212 Phone: (330) 273-4892.
