Dennis "Denny" Raymond Huron, 73, of Greenwood passed away on February 23, 2023, at Franciscan Hospice House. Denny was born in Indianapolis on October 31, 1949, to John and Vesta (Bailey) Huron. He was a veteran of the United States Army and worked for the Department of Defense as a Software Manager. Denny was a member of New Hope Church, the Kairos Prison Ministry, and was a 40-year member of the American License Plate Collectors Association (ALPCA).
Denny is survived by his wife, Debbie; sons: Chad (Renee) Huron, Nathan Huron and Josh (Amanda) Huron and their children: Joel, Joslin and Jude; stepchildren: Eric (Stacy) Robbins and family, Holly (Josh) Burton and family; brother, John (Sandy) Huron and family. Denny was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services to celebrate Denny's life will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, 481 West Main Street in Greenwood. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
