Dermont Carl Miner II

Dermont "Bud" Carl Miner, of Navarre, Florida passed away on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024.
Bud was born in Elmira, New York as the youngest boy to Alice and Dermont Miner. He graduated from the University of San Diego and worked in the engineering industry his whole life. Bud was a valued employee at Leonardo DRS with decades of service. Outside of work Bud loved to golf, fish, hunt deer, and be with the family cat, Noelle.
Bud is survived by his wife of 21 years, Mey Ali, of Navarre FL; his children, Zachary C. Miner of Yuma, AZ, and Hugh F. Miner of Navarre, FL, two sisters, Laura J. Keller of Bowling Green, OH, and Suzanne M. Hobler of New Bern, NC; and one granddaughter.
A Memorial Service for Bud Miner will be on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at the Lewis Funeral Home Navarre Chapel, 7794 Navarre Parkway 32566, with visitation from 3:00-4:00pm and service at 4:00pm.
Rev. Poston will be officiating.
The Family wishes to thank the staff of Baptist Hospital and UAB Hospital for the love and care they gave to Bud in his time of illness.
