Derrell Dunmiles Obituary
Visitation and funeral services will be observed on Saturday, July 30, 2022, from 11:00AM until funeral time at 1:00PM at Jones Funeral Home 230 S. Hollywood Rd., Houma, LA 70360. (All visitors are asked to adhere to the CDC local regulations by wearing masks and practicing social distancing.) Burial will follow at New St. Paul Cemetery in Schriever, LA.
Memories of Derrell will forever remain in the heart of his mother, Barbara Boykins and his father, Milton Scott. Daughter, Denaija Dunmiles and maternal grandparents, Patricia James, Alvernes Dunmiles and Paula Dunmiles. Paternal grandparents, Beatrice Howard. Siblings, Darnell and Bernie Dunmiles, Ayeasha (Rodney) Castle, Qunota and Precious Dunmiles, LaShanda and Keisha Marshall, Brianna, Tatiana, Rose Mary and Milton Woods. Godparents, Bertha Johnson and John Drane.
Derrell was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Henry Howard. Uncles, Henry and Herbert James, Raymond and William Scott, Sr., Faith Dunmiles and nephew, Hezekiah Dunmiles.

I know we each all had ups and down in the family but you will forever and always be considered part of the family regardless of the past we love you always & will sure miss you your smile jokes and all the memories we all shared together until we all meet again some day love the babin family rest in paradise Derrell (roachie) forever in our hearts !
