He attended Carver High School, where he began building a legacy of diligence and integrity that would shape his life and inspire those around him.
George was the proud father of four sons: George Jr., Dorian, Terrance, Rendell, and bonus children: Tremaine and Shawana Wilson-Bethancourt (Kelvin). Outside of work, he found joy in fishing, cooking, especially his famous gumbo, carpentry, and cheering on his beloved New Orleans Saints.
He was baptized at Philadelphia Baptist Church by the late Rev. Joseph Johnson where he briefly served as a Deacon. He later became a devoted member of Greater New St. Peter Baptist Church in Edgard, LA. George served faithfully as a deacon, offering spiritual guidance and steadfast support to his church family. On August 24, 2024, he accepted his call to ministry and was ordained as a preacher in Central Union Missionary Baptist Association, a role he embraced with deep humility and reverence.
