DERRICK DERAN ABRAHAM, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and nephew, passed away on January 21, 2025, at the age of 52. Born on September 14, 1972, Derrick was known for his outspoken personality and a generous spirit that resonated with everyone he encountered.
Derrick's love for his wife was profound; If she was unhappy, he was unhappy. His commitment to his family was unmatched, and he cherished every moment spent with them, especially with children. Derrick embodied the qualities of a dedicated husband and a caring father who created memories that will be treasured forever.
In addition to his family life, Derrick was a passionate fan of the New Orleans Saints, showing his loyalty with pride. Known for his kindness and warmth, he was recognized by friends and family alike as a very nice person who honored his father and mother-in-law with love and respect. Derrick's culinary skills were a unique blend of joy and dedication, as he loved to cook and take great care in keeping the kitchen clean.
Derrick's favorite color was red, a reflection of his vibrant personality and the warmth he brought into the lives of others. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories shared with his family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the viewing on January 31, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. A funeral service to honor Derrick's life will be held on February 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM at All Nations Fellowship Church, 5146 South Country Club Road, Garland, TX 75043
Derrick's presence will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
