Dewey Evans Obituary
Richard was a retired coal miner, father & grandfather. He was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his father Jack Waldron Evans, his mother Pearl Chafin Evans; five sisters Beverly Evans, Deana Evans, Brenda Cline, Debbie Henman, Vickie Kennedy, and one brother Jackie Evans.
Those left to cherish his memory is 2 sons Nathan Evans and wife Kimberly Evans of Richlands VA, Tyler Evans of Harrisburg, PA and 3 grandchildren Hailey Evans, Kyla Vanover, Camron Stinson, all of Richlands, VA; ex-wife and close friend Melissa Evans; his best friend Terry Vanover and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Church of the Lord Jesus, Jolo, WV, with Tommy Addair officiating.
