"DiAna Lynne Turner born DiAna Lynne Jones passed away peacefully Sunday June 29th, 2025.
DiAna was born in San Diego California in 1945, to CMSgt. United States air force Harry C. Jones and Doris "Fern" Canham.
DiAna traveled frequently as a child as a result of her father's military service and attended high school in Japan. DiAna came to Oroville in 1968 and met Michael Leon Leonard. The two were married June 9th, 1973, and even though they divorced, the two of them remained lifelong friends and co-parents. DiAna will be remembered for having a huge heart and an honest opinion on just about everything. She loved everyone who was in her life with every ounce of her being and would do anything for them. DiAna is preceded in death by Michael Leon Leonard, sister-in-law Chloe Pickering, her father Harry, mother Doris, sister Roni, nephew Tony Hawkins, stepfather Rolland Hemenover, stepmother Vickie Kornesczuk, Eugene Turner and a very special friend by the name of Storm.
DiAna is survived by her son Ian and his wife Maggie Leonard of Oroville, stepson Tyler Turner and his wife Cathy Turner of Oroville, stepson Troy and his wife Kelli Turner of Nevada, niece Amber Lopez and her husband Daniel, niece Becky Hawkins and her husband Tim of Indiana, nephew Charles Hawkins his wife Heather of Montana.
Grandkids- Chris and his wife Kelsey of Chico, Jesus Soria of Oroville, Michael Sandusky of Oroville, Alexis Leonard of Oroville, Ashley Turner Butler of Oroville, Candace Turner of Oroville, Kylie Turner of Oroville, Crista Turner of Oroville, Grace Turner of Oroville, Logan Turner of Oroville, Tyler Turner of Oroville.
Great grandkids- Ezekiel Leonard and Elijah Leonard of Chico. We were all grateful to have you in our lives and I couldn't ask for a better mother. Until we meet again"
