Diana Joelle Gagliardo

Diana Joelle Gagliardo, age 25, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025, after a long and

courageous battle with mitochondrial disease. Born on May 10, 2000, Diana lived a life filled

with compassion, laughter, and unwavering love for those around her. She brought light to every

space she entered, and her joy and kindness left an imprint on all who knew her.

Diana is survived by her loving parents, Tim and Sandy Gagliardo; her devoted sisters and best

friends Christina (Tony), Shannon (Jake), and Michelle (Josh); and many aunts, uncles, and

cousins who adored her deeply. She was a proud and loving aunt to her nieces Sophia, Lilliana,

and Mia, and her nephew Luca, who brought her endless happiness.

She attended PEACE United Methodist Church and Zanesville CMA Church and was an active

participant in the OASIS Day Program. Diana found joy in Miracle League Baseball, Caring

Hearts Ministries, horseback riding, swimming, and spending time with family, friends, members

of the Diana Foundation, her beloved dog Buttercup, and her best friend, Danielle.

Her family is deeply grateful to nurses Tonya, Lauren, her sister Michelle, and the many nurses

at Nationwide Children's Hospital for their love and exceptional care.

Diana's beautiful smile and uplifting spirit were a beacon of hope and joy. Her ability to make

others feel special and loved will remain her lasting legacy. She will be profoundly missed, but

her memory will continue to inspire kindness, resilience, and joy in all who carry her spirit

forward.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 2:00–4:00 PM and 6:00–8:00 PM at

Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home located at 550 Hill Road North, Pickerington OH 43147.

Additional visitation will take place on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 10:00–11:00 AM at

PEACE United Methodist Church located at 235 Diley Road, Pickerington OH 43147 followed

by a memorial service at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow service at Lithopolis Cemetery.
