Steven Weber

Steven James Weber, 83 of Newark, Ohio passed away quietly October 11th, 2025. Born June 7, 1942 to Henry Peter Weber, Jr and Mary Margaret Rothe in Columbus, Ohio. Steve was a 1960 graduate of Reynoldsburg HS achieving All State honors in football and also competed in swimming. He was the owner/operator of a Clark gas station and then a full service Marathon gas station while raising his young family in Pickerington. He then retired as a driver for Greyhound after

13 years of service. An avid outdoorsman, he loved swimming, camping , hunting and fishing. He enjoyed watching football and his annual pig roasts were legendary and well attended by many, many friends and family.

After retiring, he and Bonnie enjoyed 22 years traveling the United States in their RV being work campers at various parks around the country before spending the last 10 years in Colorado close to their grandson Colt. They retired from the RV life early last year to return home to be close to their children.

Steve is preceded in death by his parents and brother Douglas B Weber. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 65 years, Bonnie Jean, daughter Treva Lynne (Jack) Sudimack, son Scott Allen (Mylinda) Weber, grandsons Colt Weber and Nicholas Sudimack, and granddaughter Lauren (Christopher) Delcher (who were just married in September and grandpa proudly attended) along with step grandchildren Natalie, Joe and Emily. Also surviving him are brother in law Bill (Brenda) Barcus, sister in law Karen Weber and numerous nieces and nephews.

In honor of Steven, a celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 1st, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home; 550 Hill Rd N, Pickerington, Ohio 43147.
