Diana Lee Hale, age 69 of Dayton, passed away at Decatur Wellness and Rehabilitation Center on Saturday, November 1, 2025. She was born in Midland, Michigan, on August 5, 1956, the daughter of the late William and Goldie (Loper) Yats. She was also preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Hale.
Diana moved to Dayton in 2013 from Kenosha, Wisconsin. She was a high school graduate and was employed as a financial secretary for most of her working career. She enjoyed crocheting and drawing and attended Westminster Presbyterian Church in Dayton.
Diana is survived by her husband of 46 years, Scott R. Hale of Dayton; her daughter, Jennifer (Leighton) Trent of Dayton; her grandchildren, Lynnlee Trent and William Trent, both of Dayton; her brother, David (Deb) Yats of Midland, Michigan; her sisters, Mary Yats, Jan Thorington, Billie (Bob) Cline, Jean Morr, and Cindy Yats, all of Midland, Michigan, and Allice (Curtis) Coulter of Sale Creek.
There will be no services for Diana at this time.
