David Hale Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
David Hale found joy in listening to the scanner, playing 80's music, and watching his favorite movies, Night of the Living Dead, and The Addams Family on repeat. Family will remember how much he made them laugh with his outspoken spirit.
David Hale is the son of the late Stant Hale Jr. and the late Carolyn Sue Hale. He is survived by one brother, Richard (Ricky) Lee Hale, and five sisters: Josephine and Bobby Curtis of Flat Gap, Kentucky; Joyce Marie and Bob Fairchild of Gallipolis, Ohio; Janet Sue and the late John (Tim) Ward of Williamsport, Kentucky; Chattie May and Glen Hinkle of Banner, Kentucky; and Correnia Fay Strivastava of Ashland, Kentucky; and a host of devoted nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
David Hale was preceded in death by two brothers, Chris Hale and Vincent James Hale.
As we bid farewell to David, let us remember and honor the impact he had on our lives. May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may the memories shared bring comfort during this difficult time.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 11, 2025 in the Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at the Hale Cemetery, Williamsport, Kentucky. Friends may visit the Jones-Preston Funeral Home Monday, November 10, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, November 11, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m.
Jones-Preston Funeral Home is both Honored and Privileged to be Entrusted with all funeral arrangements for Mr. David Hale.
