Diana Marie Knox died peacefully in her home on October 5, 2024. Diana was cherished by many and known for her kindness, compassion, and gentle spirit.
Diana was born in Kansas City, Missouri on February 4, 1954 to her loving parents, Arthur and Hazel White. Diana graduated from Raytown High School in 1972 and went on to pursue her education at Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg. She dedicated her professional life to a career in the family trade as a Dental Lab Technician.
On August 30, 1986, Diana married Larry Knox in Jackson County, Missouri. This union was blessed with one beautiful daughter, Sarah. Diana took great pride in raising her in this small community she called home. Diana was Nana to her granddaughter, Evelyn, who was the light of her life.
Waiting for her at the Door to Heaven was her parents, Arthur and Hazel White; brother Jim White; and her husband, Larry Knox.
Diana is survived by her daughter, Sarah (Knox) Zehren and husband Austin Zehren of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one granddaughter, Evelyn Zehren; two brothers, Stephan White of Kansas City, Missouri and Donald White of Garnett, Kansas; two sisters, Patti Wobker of Paola, Kansas and Mary Kahler of Raytown, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.
May Diana's loving memory live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, October 12, 2024, at First Christian Church in Garnett, Kansas. Family will greet friends one hour prior to service, at 9:30 A.M.
Memorials are suggested to First Christian Church and can be left with the funeral home.
