Diana M. Panzarino, 85, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Hilton Head Hospital, Hilton Head Island, SC.
Diana was born on February 4, 1940, in New York City, NY, to the late Frank Kasper and Josephine (Nebilak) Kasper. She earned her associate’s degree from Somerset Community College and dedicated much of her career to the Franklin Township Board of Education, where she rose to become Head of Computer Services before retiring in 2002.
Faith, family, and service were central to Diana’s life. A devoted Catholic, she was a Eucharistic Minister at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church. She shared her love of learning by volunteering at Hardeeville Public Schools, reading to children, and gave her time generously to the American Red Cross, including service during Hurricane Katrina.
In retirement, Diana embraced life in Sun City, where she built lasting friendships and became an active part of her community. She cherished time spent with friends, neighbors, and her beloved church family, all of whom will deeply miss her warm spirit and generous heart. Diana also had a love of travel, and she and her husband Joseph enjoyed exploring new places together, creating lasting memories across the country and abroad.
Diana is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Joseph Panzarino; her sons, Stephen (Tracy), Christopher (Jeanne), and Anthony; and her cherished grandchildren, Zoey, Sydney, Zachary, and Taylor. She will also be fondly remembered for the joy she found in the companionship of her beloved dogs, Charlie and Teddy.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 31 St. Gregory Dr., Bluffton, SC.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Diana’s memory be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church.
