Diana D. (nee Devine) Partusch, 74, of Wall Township, passed away peacefully on Thursday October 3, 2024, at Manor by the Sea Rehab Center, Ocean Grove, NJ. She was born in Neptune, NJ on January 15, 1950. Diana grew up in the Wanamassa Section of Ocean Township, NJ. She was employed by Canada Dry Bottling Company, Neptune in the 70's and early 80's as a bookkeeper. She was president of the West Belmar PTA in 1975. She taught CCD classes at St Catharine's Church, Spring Lake and then Holy Innocents Church, Neptune while raising her children. She also coached Wall Pop Warner Cheerleading in the early 90's. She attended and then graduated from Brookdale and then Georgian Court Colleges with full scholarships. She had an associate degree in human behavior, a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in sociology. She then attended Rutgers University where she received a master's degree in social work. She interned at Monmouth Medical Geriatric Program, Fort Monmouth Army Hospital, and then worked briefly at Catholic Charities. After this she worked at Adult Protective Services in Long Branch. From there she opened her own business, Select Senior Services, providing services to senior citizens until 2012 when she retired because of her illness. She also received a manicurist license to temporarily help her son who owns Gloss Salon, Neptune, NJ. In 2016 she went back to work part time for Brick Housing Authority in resident services. Diana attended church services at Fellowship Chapel, Brick, NJ.
Diana was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Dorothy Devine, her brother Joseph Devine and a brother-in-law Gary White. She is survived by her loving children and their spouses Joseph and Kathy Partusch, Florida, John and Elaina Partusch of Wall, NJ, and Dina and Matt Zahorsky of Point Pleasant, NJ. Diana was the cherished grandmother of Jake, Ava, Johnny, Hudson, Weston, and Olivia Zahorsky. She is also survived by her three brothers Dr. Christopher Devine and his wife Connie, James Devine, and Kevin Devine; her two sisters Ellen Hammell, and Susan White. Diana will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Sunday October 6, 2024, from 5 pm to 7 pm at Orender
Family Home for Funerals 2643 Old Bridge Road Manasquan, NJ. The funeral service will be held 11 am on Monday October 7, 2024, at Fellowship Chapel 170 Dutchess Lane Brick, NJ 08724.
