Diana Lynn Stromquist, age 68, of Grant, MI, passed away on Saturday, July 20th, 2024. She was born on August 31st, 1955 in Fremont, Michigan to Harold and Barbara (Goyings) Thatcher. She later met and married Randy on June 15, 1991 and together raised a beautiful family. Diana worked as a Lab Supervisor for 24 years at Hackley Community Care. She enjoyed crafts, gardening, flowers, and spending time with her family. Diana especially loved family vacations and adored her grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband, Randy Stromquist, children; Jack Matych, Niki (Aaron) Bloem, Heather (Neal Maloney) Stromquist, grandchildren; Grace, John, Sawyer, Rachel, Rebecca, brothers; Joe (Lydia) Thatcher, Greg Thatcher, Scott (Angie) Thatcher, sisters-in-law; Roxann (Gary) Telfor, Peggy Stromquist, and several nieces and nephews. Diana is preceded in death by her parents; Harold and Barbara Thatcher.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 11am - 1pm at White Cloud United Methodist Church. After the visitation there will be a memorial service at 1pm with a luncheon following. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or White Cloud United Methodist Church. Diana will be greatly missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
