Diane Lynn Allison, 70, of Alvin, passed away at 1:51 a.m. Thursday, January 2, 2025, at her home.
She was born on September 3, 1954, in Danville, the daughter of David and Georgia (Sanks) Allison Jr. She is survived by one son- Clayton (Diane Powell) Allison of Danville; one granddaughter- Jolee Allison; two brothers- Richard (Barbara) Allison of Alvin and David (Lori) Allison of Bismarck; two sisters- Debi (Michael) Stimac and Belle (John Stimac) Allison both of Danville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother- Daniel "Boone" Allison, nephew- Toby Allison and Frank Haggerman.
She graduated from Bismarck High School, in 1972. She worked for several years at Sunset Cove Apartments and County Market. She later worked at Meijer, in Danville, when they opened in 2012. Diane enjoyed gardening, flowers and working in her yard. She also loved horseback riding, taking care of her cats and watching tv.
A Celebration of Diane's Life will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at the Blurton Funeral Home, in Potomac, with Randy Draper officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home. Cremation arrangements will be arranged following the services.
