Age 81 of Hopkins passed away August 24th, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents and younger brother. Diane was an active member of the community, participating in numerous areas of service and was also actively involved in her church. She was a wonderful wife of 58 years to her husband, David. She was also an amazing mother and grandmother. She loved her family and friends fiercely and we will forever feel loved by her. Diane is survived by her husband, David; son, Eric (Kelly) Bangerter; daughter, Amy (Josh) Jonsson; grandchildren, Laine and Bennett Bangerter; grandchildren Zachary, William, and Tucker Jonsson; sister Julie Johnston; other relatives and many friends. Funeral service will be held on September 14, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 715 Minnetonka Mills Rd, Hopkins, 55343. Visitation will be held at 2:30 prior to the service. A reception will be held afterward. Memorials preferred to be sent to Gethsemane Lutheran church. www.Washburn-McReavy.com
