On February 28, 2023, our mother, Diane Frances Booth, passed away from complications of Alzheimer's disease at the age of 73.

Diane was born October 8, 1949 to Richard and Evelyn Ebbitt in Newport, Rhode Island. She met Richard Booth Jr. in 1972 in Newport, RI where he was stationed in the Navy. Later that year, they moved to Fairfax, VA and were married. Diane and Richard went on to have 4 children: Rebecca, Christopher, Diana and Shawn. They were married for 50 years at the time of her passing.

She is survived by her husband Richard Booth Jr., children Rebecca Bowling (Blair), Christopher Booth, Diana Via (Robby), Shawn Booth (Stephanie), grandchildren Stephanie Murphy (Randy), CJ Dobbins (Tabitha), Jacob Via, Cody Bowling, Tyler Via, Allyson Via, Jack Booth and great grandchildren Serinity Dobbins and Nolan Dobbins. She was predeceased by her parents Richard and Evelyn Ebbitt and her sister Evelyn Nelson.

Services will be held at Blue Ridge Shores Baptist Church on Saturday March 25th at 2pm.
