It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Diane J. Clavette, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at the age of 70.

Diane was born on December 1, 1953, in Madawaska, Maine, the cherished daughter of the late Lorette and Ludger Clavette. A lifelong Mainer, Diane was known for her deep love of family and her strong, independent spirit. She is survived by her two children: daughter Joy Adamson and her husband Tom, son Roland Nadeau and his wife Corisande. She was also blessed with four grandchildren, whom she loved greatly and many beloved, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

A woman of many talents, Diane found joy in home improvement projects, gardening, painting, cooking, sewing and knitting. She was never one to shy away from hard work and took great satisfaction in transforming her surroundings, whether through her creative endeavors or her green thumb. Diane’s home was always filled with warmth, love, and the smell of home-cooked meals, where she loved to spend time with family and friends.

Diane’s strength and independence were hallmarks of her character. She faced life’s challenges with resilience and grace, putting her loved ones first. Her legacy of love, creativity, and determination will live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Her passing leaves a profound void in our lives, yet we find comfort knowing of her relationship with Christ, strong faith and the wonderful memories she leaves behind.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at the Caribou Assembly of God from 9AM until time of services which will be held at 10AM with Rev. Michael Hood officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in her memory to the Caribou Assembly of God where she attended and volunteered. Private interment will be held at a later date in the St. Gerard Cemetery in Grand Isle.
