Mrs. Diane M. Estes, age 62, entered into rest on Sunday, April 13, 2025. The family will hold a celebration of life gathering at a later date to honor her memory.
Mrs. Estes was born May 2, 1962 in Greenwood, SC a daughter of Martha Wrenn Mann and the late John L. Mann. She was a former employee of Chesterfield Manufacturing and John Mann Fine Knits. Diane was also a long-time employee of Mickey’s Restaurant in Pageland. A lady who loved her family dearly, Diane was proud to be called “Nana” by her grandchildren. She was a lady who never complained no matter what she was facing and always had a way to make others around her smile.
In addition to her father, Mrs. Estes was also preceded in death by her grandparents, L.T. and Margie Mann, and J.W. and Mattie Sue Wrenn.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Barry E. Estes of the home; children, Barry E. Estes II, and Amy Estes both of Jefferson, SC; mother, Martha W. Mann of Mauldin, SC; grandchildren, Christian Baucom, Benjamin “Scott” Baucom, Gage Estes, and Ethan Estes; sisters, Danna Davis of Greenwood, SC, Wanda (Jim) Turner of Mauldin, SC, and April (Rodney) Griffin of Pageland, SC; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.
